When it comes to staying at Walt Disney World’s Pop Century Resort, choosing the best room comes down to the old reality axiom: Loation, Location, LOCATION!
However, finding the “perfect” room at Pop Century is not as simple as it may sound. Instead of there being one ideal room, there are actually several spread throughout the resort, each of which is “perfect” depending on what a guest actually wants out of their stay. Luckily for you, we’ve tracked down some of the best room options at Pop Century for many potential types of guests.
When it comes to snacks at Walt Disney World, there are many, many, MANY options… meaning that someone with pretty much any taste buds.
For example, during a recent trip to the “Most Magical Place on Earth,” one of our team members had a treat at EPCOT that became their FAVORITE thing on the trip, to the point that they’ve been daydreaming of it ever since.
We’ve got some bad news for travelers planning to fly into California to visit Disneyland this summer: Your airport rideshare is about to get more expensive.
Travelers flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – one of the world’s busiest, which brings in millions of travelers each year for attractions including major Hollywood studio tours and Las Angeles attractions, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Disneyland in (relatively) nearby Anaheim – are about to see the cost of services like Uber and Lyft go up thanks to a new fee increase.
Disney Springs, the ever-popular shopping district at Walt Disney World, is often packed with visiting guests and local Central Florida residents alike, drawn by it’s restaurants and high-end shops. However, not every week’s crowds are created equal.
Now, one BIG clarification to make here: Disney Springs, like all of Walt Disney World, is always busy. Yes, these weeks are comparatively less crowded than the rest of the year, but if you’re expecting the district to be a ghost town with no waits for restaurants and small shopping crowds, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.
Some MAJOR things are on their way to the Magic Kingdom in the next few years, with construction in full swing on the Cars-themed Piston Peak coming to Frontierland and the Villains Land taking over the area “Beyond” Big Thunder Mountain.
However, the tradeoff for these upcoming new lands is the closure of one of the park’s opening day areas, which led to an uproar from some fans and Disney traditionalists alike.
Disney fans may want to DROP everything and get to Amazon ASAP!
Right now, the massive E-tailer has some of our Disney favorites available for discounted prices!
The Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground has been a staple at Walt Disney World since (nearly) the very beginning. The campground was always planned for the Vacation Kingdom, primarily to serve as a cost-effective alternative to the opening day Contemporary and Polynesian Village Resorts, and was advertised in promotional materials from the start. However, construction delays pushed the campground back slightly, with Fort Wilderness opening about 6 weeks after the rest of Walt Disney World on November 19th, 1971.
Over the last 50+ years, the resort has become a favorite for guests who want to capture a part of the great outdoors during their Disney World stay. However, as one of our team members learned, the campground is NOT for everyone.
Spring Break season has arrived, and with it, thousands of guests are making their way to Walt Disney World to take in everything the Vacation Kingdom has to offer.
