The theme park is opening a brand-new roller coaster, and it honestly looks TERRIFYING. Get those calendars out, because the ride opens in one week!

Six Flags Over Texas is getting a new roller coaster called Tormenta Rampaging Run, and its grand opening is officially set for Friday, June 26th!

This roller coaster isn’t just any roller coaster; it’s going to be one-of-a-kind. Six Flags Over Texas asked a question in the caption on their most recent social media post, “Are you ready to take history by the horns?“, and they aren’t kidding. The theme park claimed that this will be the tallest, fastest, longest, and first “giga-dive coaster” that is OVER 300 feet tall.

The roller coaster is going to set SIX world records for roller coasters, including a 309-foot maximum elevation and a descent that will send guests 87 mph. Making it both the tallest and fastest coaster in the world. The dive coaster will also be the world’s longest coaster at 4,199 feet. It sounds like this really will replicate the running of the bulls.

We said six world records, so the craziest doesn’t end there. The coaster will also have the world’s tallest vertical loop at 179 feet, the highest Immelmann inversion that carries passengers upside down and 218 feet above ground, and a 95-degree beyond-vertical drop, plunging riders 285 feet. Yes, it’s THAT crazy!
