Several Disney Cruise Line cast members have been arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

These Cast Members were among 28 people who were arrested due to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), according to Variety.

The federal agency boarded eight cruise ships between April 23rd and April 27th. Each of these eight ships was connected to the investigation. The agency interviewed 26 suspected crew members. A spokesperson for U.S. Customs and Border Protection said, “Officers confirmed that 27 of the 28 subjects were involved in either the receipt, possession, transportation, distribution, or viewing of CSEM.”

Their visas have been canceled, and each person involved has been returned to their country of citizenship. The names of those involved have not been revealed. Disney Cruise Line issued a statement saying, “We have a zero-tolerance policy for this type of behavior and fully cooperated with law enforcement. While the majority of these individuals were not from our cruise line, those who were are no longer with the company.”

The agency did not reveal that a Disney ship was involved in the investigation, but passengers on the Disney Magic posted videos of the employees being arrested. The California Post was the outlet to break the news that a Disney ship was involved. The other cruise lines that had employees involved have not been disclosed at the time of writing.
