If you’ve followed us for a while, then you’ll know that we’re huge fans of The Polite Pig at Disney Springs. It’s a quick-service barbecue restaurant with such high-quality meats that it’s earned a Michelin Guide Recommended nod.
Limited-time Creamed Corn
So when we saw that they had a new limited-time menu item just for this month, we had to stop by and try it. Did we get weird looks for exclusively ordering a side of creamed corn and nothing else? Yes. But are we embarrassed? Never!
The Creamed Corn is $6 at The Polite Pig. It’s sweet creamed, roasted corn with salty bacon bits. This is only available until the end of April at Disney Springs.

The corn itself is very unique. It’s roasted on the grill, and not only can you see the char marks, but it also has a strong smoky flavor. It’s well-balanced by the creamy, tangy sauce. We loved the bacon in this – while it’s described as bacon bits, they’re more chunky, and we loved the crunchy texture they added. The bacon was extra salty, so combined with the heavy seasoning of the corn, this was very flavorful.
Creamed Corn
We’d recommend this to anyone who likes creamed corn or barbecue. It had a very smoky, barbecue-forward flavor that would pair well with most of The Polite Pig’s meat options. We love their Butcher’s Board with a variety of their barbecue meats, and we’re trying them together on our next visit!
