An important annual milestone is coming up for The Walt Disney Company: the Disney Upfront. This event is where the House of Mouse showcases the full lineup of entertainment — everything from content and franchises to data and technology. Mark your calendar for the Disney Upfront on May 12th!

On May 12th at 4 PM ET, Disney executives and employees will gather at the North Javits Center in New York City for the annual Disney Upfront. At this event, we’ll learn more about how Disney entertainment is doing, including potential announcements for future movies and shows from Disney, Hulu, and ESPN. Upfronts are annual spring negotiations where advertisers commit money to future ad inventory for the upcoming television season.

Disney has made ambitious strides over the past few years to continue adding value to its streaming service . With Disney making good on their promises to crack down on password sharing and adding options for bundles with other popular brands like Hulu and ESPN, we’re learning quickly that Disney+ and its success appear to be a huge focus for the company.

Past Disney Upfront events were filled with celebrities and announcements, hyping up the next slate of content coming to Disney+ and beyond. At the 2025 showcase, we learned about new seasons for shows like The Bear, along with announcements about new series, including ESPN’s Vibe Check, FX’s The Beauty, and Chad Powers starring Glen Powell.
