Every Disney fan is marking down April 2nd on their calendars. But why?
April 2nd is the day that tickets to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event go on sale!
D23 is a Disney-led convention where Disney executives, celebrities, and fans from around the globe will join together in the ultimate celebration of all things Disney. The convention includes special events, exclusive merchandise, unique exhibits, and fascinating presentations on the Disney Parks, Disney movies, and more!
This year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience will take place from August 14th to 16th, 2026, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. D23 Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 2nd, 2026. D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans will receive priority access to purchase tickets.
If you’re a Disney movie buff, you can’t miss The Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday, August 14th. This is where Disney announces everything about their new movies and TV shows! Like previous D23s, we’re expecting news on upcoming Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel titles.
You need to attend the Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday, August 15th. This panel is where Disney announces all of its new updates to the Disney Parks! We’ve seen Disney announce entire new theme park lands, including Villains Land, Piston Peak, Pueblo Esperanza, and more! We can’t wait to see what they announce this year.
The Disney Legends Ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, August 16th, the final day of the event. For almost forty years, the Disney Legends award has been the highest honor the Walt Disney Company can offer, bestowed on performers, executives, Cast Members, Imagineers, and creatives who’ve made a lasting impact on the company’s legacy. Look at all of the honorees! It will be hosted by longtime D23 host Ryan Seacrest.
We’re so excited for this year’s D23. You can’t miss the ultimate Disney fan event! Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Disney news.
