We’ve all been there – you rope drop Disney World, so excited for the day, just to have to leave before fireworks because your feet are so sore! Your park shoes can make or break your Disney trip.
Here at Disney Food Blog, we’re Disney experts who are at the parks all day, every day. We tried out five of the most popular Disney shoe brands – HOKAs, Brooks, On Clouds, New Balances, and Nikes – and we’ve officially found the best shoes for Disney World ever!
The Brooks Ghost 17s were a very close second!
The Brooks Ghost 17s are very comfortable. They’re a little heavy at first to get used to when new, but after you walk around in them, you can start to feel them conform around your foot and give you that extra cushion and bounce in the heel. The cushioning makes you more bouncy, almost like you’re gliding with each step, rather than impacting your body.
The Brooks Ghost 17s are very balanced. It’s a blend of soft, dynamic cushioning that provides a smooth feel with each step, and a comfy grip around the toe and front of the shoe that hugs without being tight. The Brooks Ghost 17s aren’t as comfortable to us as our first-place pick, but they’re pretty darn close!
These HOKA Clifton 10s take the crown!
The Hoka Women’s Clifton 10s are one of our favorite shoes ever. They’re ultra comfortable with so much support from a bouncy heel. They’re springy to the heels and soles of your feet when you step, but not in a way that makes you feel like you’re going to leap into the air with each step. It’s a gentle give that greets your foot as you walk.
These HOKA Clifton 10s look chunky, but they’re so lightweight that we could barely even feel them. These babies are built for long-term wear – we’ve had them for years, and they’re still going strong! These Hokas replaced some of our favorite park shoes for gold. They’ll convert you instantly!
We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more!

I recently bought Hoka Kawana 2’s on discount at an outlet store. Best shoe ever! Best $80 spent! I even have custom orthotics in my New Balance sneakers and these Hokas are so much better!
