Ni hao from Lan Yuan! We’re coming to you from the China Pavilion at the 2026 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!

Lan Yuan Outdoor Kitchen
The Food Booth that is now known as Lan Yuan Outdoor Kitchen (which translates into “The Orchid Garden”) used to be called “Lotus House.” But, don’t you fret… Lan Yuan is still home to a few returning fan-favorites dishes (HELLO, Cheesy Crab Wontons!) along with some new surprises to discover. So, as we make our way around EPCOT to review every single Flower and Garden Festival Food Booth for you, we hope you’ll join us at Lan Yuan!
Menu
The food menu for Lan Luan this year is split right down the middle, with two returning items and two new dishes. The fan-favorite House-made Cheesy Crab Wontons and Pan-fried Vegetable Dumplings are back, and they are joined by the new Sha Cha Beef Bao Bun and Tanghulu fruit skewer.

The First Emperor is the new cocktail on the beverage menu, keeping company with the returning Tropical Moon and Dragon Dynasty cocktails. Mango Bubble Tea is the non-alcoholic option, and Brew Hub Honey Jasmine Lager is the option for beer drinkers.
Now let’s dig into the flavors at “The Orchid Garden…”

Eats
The House-made Cheesy Crab Wontons are BACK, friends! These fried wontons are filled with cream cheese, celery, and imitation crab stick for $9.75. Previously, when we had these, we thought they were absolutely yummy as usual, and the sweet and sour sauce on top was a great complement. The filling actually had a strong crab flavor, which we were really happy about! It wasn’t all cream cheese. The wontons were fried tender and crunchy at the same time…absolutely perfect.

The new Sha Cha Beef Bao Bun is available for $7.75.

Sha Cha Beef Bao Bun
It’s filled with pan-fried beef, red onion, and jalapeño in a Chinese sha cha peanut sauce. This dish is very tender and delicious, but with its small size, it left us wanting more. For $7.75, it’s a little pricey for not a big payoff to keep you full.

The Pan-fried Vegetable Dumplings are up for grabs again for $5.50. These are filled with bok choy, carrot, shiitake mushrooms, ginger, garlic, and sesame. In the past, we had no issue with this savory snack from a taste perspective, as these dumplings are light and even refreshing with the tang from the sauce and flavor punch from the red onion; however, we do have a bit of an issue with the price for the small portion size.

Pan-fried Vegetable Dumplings
For something sweet, the new Tanghulu costs $7.25.

Tanghulu
It’s a skewer of strawberries and grapes coated in candied sugar syrup. The fruit itself is delicious, but we found that our dish had the sugar unevenly distributed. Certain bites were great with a light crunch from the sugar, but then in other bites, we found the sugar too thick. We wish it were a thinner covering, but it does get bonus points for being very picture-worthy.

Tanghulu
Onto the drinks!
Drinks
Say “Hi!” to the First Emperor! This cocktail makes its Festival debut this year for $15.00. It’s made with vodka, ginger kombucha, strawberry syrup, and lime juice. We found this drink very refreshing. The ginger was more on the subtle side, which is great if you’re sensitive to that taste. The strawberry and lime balance together well, and on a hot day, this is a great choice.

First Emperor
The Dragon Dynasty returns for $14.75. Featuring the strong Baijiu spirit, this cocktail is also made with light rum, dragon fruit syrup, piña colada mix, and soda water. In the past, it let us down. It was good, but the other drinks overshadowed it and were more memorable. It has a sweet flavor and doesn’t taste like alcohol, which might be good if you’re looking for an adult beverage, but you don’t want the strong alcohol flavor. It’s a good drink, just nothing too special like the other options here.

Dragon Dynasty
The Tropical Moon is back as well for $14.75. Vodka, triple sec liqueur, passion fruit syrup, soda water, and white boba pearls make up this sip. The drink was light and refreshing, but this one was not our favorite. The passion fruit syrup did not stand out to us, and it was overpowered by the triple sec and soda water. It has a similar flavor profile to the First Emperor, and we found that one to be overall better.

Tropical Moon
Guests who look for a non-alcoholic option can try the Mango Bubble Tea. It costs $7.75.
Heads up that this drink is quite sweet; the tapioca boba adds a subtle variation in the texture. Overall, it’s simply a nice refresher on a warm and busy day, taking in all of the sights and tastes of the Flower and Garden Festival.
Brew Hub Honey Jasmine Lager is also available for $6.00 for a 6-ounce pour or $10.75 for a 12-ounce pour.
OVERALL
This booth brings back some fan favorites while mixing in a few new bites and sips, and overall, it’s a solid stop with a couple of standouts. The House-made Cheesy Crab Wontons are a great choice. The Pan-fried Vegetable Dumplings remain light, savory, and flavorful with a nice tang from the sauce, though the small portion size makes the price feel a bit steep. The new Sha Cha Beef Bao Bun is tender and tasty with a punchy peanut sauce, but it’s on the smaller side for $7.75, leaving us wanting more. As for dessert, the new Tanghulu is undeniably photo-worthy and fun, but the inconsistent sugar coating made some bites better than others.

Lan Yuan Full Spread
On the drinks side, there are some refreshing options, perfect for a warm Florida day. The debuting First Emperor cocktail is the clear winner, with a balanced blend of strawberry and lime and a pleasantly subtle ginger note. The returning Dragon Dynasty is sweet and easy to sip but not especially memorable, while The Tropical Moon fell a bit flat for us, with its passion fruit getting lost among stronger flavors. The Mango Bubble Tea is a solid non-alcoholic choice, though quite sweet.

Lan Yuan
Overall, this booth is worth a visit, especially for the Crab Wontons and the First Emperor cocktail. But it’s not without its pricing concerns. If you’re prioritizing budget, you may want to stick to the standout items rather than sampling everything.
