If you are staying at the Swan Resort at Disney World and need a quick breakfast fix before heading into the parks, Java at Swan might just be your new best friend.
We stopped by this walk-up spot to check out a few menu items, and we have some thoughts.
First things first: Java is one of those grab-and-go spots that genuinely has a little bit of everything.
Beyond the coffee and food menu, their refrigerated section stocks bottled and canned wines, beers, sodas, sports drinks, and water. They even carry basic medications like Advil and Benadryl, which, honestly, is the kind of convenience that resort guests really appreciate after a long day on their feet.
Also, the line moves quickly, and the staff are friendly and efficient, which always sets the right tone for a morning outing.
C3 Dark Roast Coffee and Collagen — $6.50
If you are a dark roast fan, the C3 is worth your attention. What impressed us right away was how smooth it tasted. There was none of that harsh, burnt aftertaste that can ruin a cup of dark roast coffee. When you order, you have access to a whole customization station with syrup options, a variety of milk choices, including oat and almond milk, sugar options, and different creamers.
So whether you take your coffee black or love to doctor it up, this is a solid base to work with. The added collagen is a nice bonus for anyone who cares about that sort of thing, and at $6.50, it is a reasonable price for a resort coffee that actually delivers on flavor.
The Standard — $12.00
Listen, the name doesn’t exactly inspire excitement, but do not let that fool you. This breakfast sandwich came on a croissant roll that was genuinely soft and a little buttery (which we didn’t see coming).
The bacon and egg both tasted fresh, and while the egg had that familiar, rounded fast-food-style patty vibe (think Egg McMuffin territory), it was fluffy and satisfying. Now, the bacon was on the softer side rather than crispy (we know that’s a polarizing detail for bacon lovers). If you are firmly in the crunchy bacon camp, consider yourself warned.
The pepper jack cheese, though, was a standout addition. It gave the whole sandwich a small but noticeable kick that elevated what could have been a completely forgettable breakfast bite. For $12 at a Disney resort walk-up, we were honestly more impressed than we expected to be.
Mickey Waffles — $7.50
Mickey Waffles are always going to have a special place in our hearts, and getting them at a walk-up location is a treat in itself.
These come dusted with cinnamon powdered sugar and served with maple syrup, and the powdered sugar flavor genuinely comes through in a way that makes them feel a little more special than your standard waffle. The one honest critique here is that they ran a little dry even with the syrup, so don’t be shy about asking for extra.
Also, in the spirit of full transparency, these aren’t the most practical walking-around food. They are better enjoyed at a table where you can take your time. But the novelty of Mickey Waffles at a walk-up window makes it worth the slight logistical challenge.
Overall, Java at Swan is a convenient, well-stocked spot that punches above its weight for a hotel walk-up. The C3 coffee alone could make it a regular morning stop, and The Standard sandwich is a pleasant surprise. We would absolutely visit again.

You have to be kidding me… $12 for what is nothing more than an ‘upscale’ Egg McMuffin which I can buy for $2.79…. Almost every breakfast item on the menu at Prima Piatto costs less…
I love staying at the Swan, and getting our morning coffee at Java!
