One of our favorite things to do in Disneyland is go to Anaheim Ducks Day, a special event that celebrates the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club.

This special event only happens once each year, and this year, it’s happening TODAY. Anaheim Ducks Day brings special photo ops, exclusive merchandise, a chance to meet some of the players, and special snacks! Well, we are AT Disney California Adventure RIGHT NOW, experiencing all that this year’s Anaheim Ducks Day has to offer. Let’s go, Ducks!

We started our morning by heading straight to Disney California Adventure. We had no idea what we were in for, but there were a lot of people heading that way, too. We had to wait quite a while just to park our car! Let’s just say there are a lot of Anaheim Ducks fans in the city! Y’all. It took us nearly TWO HOURS to get into the park. But we finally made it!

The park was HOPPING by the time we got inside. There are Ducks fans EVERYWHERE. And they’re dedicated, many wearing hockey jerseys, although it’s like 80+ degrees outside. DEDICATION, y’all. Everywhere you go, you’re going to hear “Quack Quack Quack” chants.

We were excited to see Pixar Pier dressed up for the day.

When we arrived, we saw a list of locations and times of some special activities happening in the park for the day. The Anaheim Ducks mascot, Wild Wing, was also meeting fans, plus if you got to the park early enough, you could get an official Ducks Day Fan Photo wristband in the Hollywood Backlot area, which is how you can get photos with the players. Animation Academy is also getting in on the duck action…if you stop by, you’ll learn how to draw some of your favorite Disney ducks.

We also saw player jerseys on display.

We also checked out some Anaheim Ducks merchandise in the Hyperion Theater Courtyard. Check out that sweet Spirit jersey!

We made our way over to the player rally, and there were already CROWDS of people waiting for that. Look at all these Ducks fans!

The rally kicked off with the the Power Players, the Anaheim Ducks cheer squad! Who’s got spirit?

They also brought out two of our favorite ducks, Donald and Daisy!

Then, the Anaheim Ducks came out and posed with the Disney ducks! We guess Disney has all their ducks in a row…LITERALLY.

The team played a fun plushie toss game, too!

Of course, there are exclusive snacks, including the  Quacktail Cooler from Hollywood Lounge made with Vodka and orange juice slushy with beer foam topping.

You can grab the Chicken-fried Steak Burrito at Studio Catering Co. made with Sautéed vegetables, egg, and country gravy with potato bites.

Finally, you can grab the Ducks Day Brownie Cheesecake at Schmoozies. It’s a a Cookies and cream cheesecake with a brownie base covered with a dark chocolate shell. We tried to get the brownie, y’all. We TRIED, but that baby sold out FAST. We take our hockey seriously here in Southern California. And our brownies, too, apparently.

We’ve really enjoyed celebrating the Anaheim Ducks over on the West Coast today with so many other Ducks fans.
