Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith closes in a week! The last day to ride is March 1st.
The ride will be closing on March 2nd to become Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Here’s how to have one last rock-filled day with Aerosmith!
Sunday, March 1st, will be your last day to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. It’s a dark thrill ride that plays five classic Aerosmith songs, and we’re trying to get all five before it closes!
March 1st will also be your last day to shop at Rock Around the Shop. It has some Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster-themed merch exclusive to the shop, including fun t-shirts and sweatshirts, but our favorite items are Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster-branded drumsticks and guitar picks! It’s a unique gift or souvenir for any music lover.
KRNR The Rock Station, the quick-service food truck outside the ride, will also close. They serve some exclusive snacks like mini corn dogs and tortilla chips, but we’re not sure if they’ll be moved to another part of the park while the area is being renovated. We love their mini churros and Frozen Coca-Cola, which you can now get at Ice Cold Hydraulics.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is being converted into Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. The ride will follow the Electric Mayhem band now that G-Force Records has been sold. Scooter is running the production with help from familiar faces like Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the penguins.
Make sure to get your last ride in by Sunday, March 1st. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Hollywood Studios news!

It’s the same ride just being rethemed. So technically it’ not closing “forever.” Just like Incredicoaster over at California Adventure was once called California Screamin. Same exact ride, just rethemed.
