Cinderella Castle is getting repainted!
For a month now, Cinderella Castle has been undergoing a makeover. We like to check on her from time to time, and we have some updates to show you!

The castle is returning to its original color scheme of blues, grays, and gold accents — a color scheme we haven’t seen since 2020, when the castle was repainted to the pink, blue, and gold version we see now, which was to celebrate the park’s 50th anniversary.
The castle is slowly changing!
The major difference this week is that the gray coloring is now visible from the front for the first time. Before, you could see some slight color changes from the side on the bridge towards Fantasyland, but now you can see some of the pink going grey at the front!

Luckily, the painting work is only done in the morning, and then the cranes are taken down at noon to make it easier for guests to take those iconic castle photos.

The moat around the castle has also been drained, so the area definitely doesn’t look like how it usually does. We’re honestly surprised at how much they painted thus far, considering they started in January.
The work continues!
There isn’t any word as to when the castle repainting will be complete, but Disney is aiming for later this year! We’ll be checking in often to see how the project is going, so make sure to follow us at the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss the latest updates.
