Well, this is NOT the news anyone wanted to hear today, but here we are.
Both Disneyland AND Disney World are full of construction right now, all to create new experiences and attractions for guests, but as it’s all happening at the SAME time, things are getting rough. Now, Disneyland Resort has just added TWO more refurbishments to their list…both starting on the same day.
Currently, the Disneyland refurbishment calendar only goes out to March 30th at this time, but from what we can see, both the Disneyland Monorail AND Roger Rabbit’s CarToon Spin will be going under refurbishment the same day.
At the same time, Jungle Cruise will be closed in Disneyland as well, and Grizzly River Run will be unavailable in Disney California Adventure. Not to mention, we’re still waiting for the official closure date for Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue, which Disney originally stated would be early 2026.
This is all in addition to the major construction happening over in Avengers Campus, with the new parking deck going in, and the entirety of the DisneylandForward project. If you’re visiting this year, you’ll want to pack your patience and prepare yourself for some serious walls.
