Universal Orlando has become more popular than ever, thanks to the opening of Epic Universe last year, which has brought a lot of visitors to the parks.

Now, most who visit Epic Universe also end up visiting Universal’s other theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. If you’re visiting Universal Islands of Adventure, though, you might want to be aware that one ride and a Harry Potter experience will be closing soon.
If you’ll be visiting Universal Islands of Adventure on April 19th through April 25th, you will not be able to visit Me Ship, The Olive during that time. This attraction is a play area designed to look like Popeye’s ship with three decks of things like passageways, slides, climbing nets, horns, an interactive piano, and more. It’s also where you can squirt those riding on Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges with water cannons.

You also will not be able to pop into Ollivander’s Wand Shop in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Islands of Adventure on or after February 26th. The shop will be under refurbishment for a little while — Universal has not yet released a reopening date for the shop. This experience recreates the Ollivander’s scene from the Harry Potter movies, where one lucky visitor gets the chance to have a wand choose them.

Also note that the following closures are also still happening in Universal Islands of Adventure:
- Jurassic Park River Adventure is closed through November 19th
- Hogwarts Express is closed through February 23rd
