We talk about our love for Disney snacks, rides, and overall theme park incredible-ness, but we also love something we don’t talk about very often — Bath and Body Works! When our teams aren’t in the parks, we’re back home writing everything up, and more likely than not, a candle is burning in the kitchen.
When we can’t be inthe parks, we like to keep the magic going at home, so we asked our team what scents from Bath and Body Works smell like Disney World, and after a long debate, we found seven scents that we can’t live without.
Main Street Bakery
Uh, duh! It’s literally in the name. If you’ve ever walked by the Main Street Confectionery, you’ve probably been hit with a wave of vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar, and that’s exactly what this candle reminds us of. In the candle, there are also hints of banana, which reminds us of warm baked goods, too.
First Blooms of Spring
Spring has sprung! That’s what we say almost every day of the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, which runs from March to the beginning of summer. There are literally flowers at every turn in EPCOT, and our team swears the park smells different. The candle has notes of blooming lilies, pink peony petals, and sunny citrus.
Hummingbird Tea Cake
This one reminds us of one of our favorite restaurants over in Disney Springs. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is where we go when we need Southern classics served in the best way possible. This candle has fragrance notes of pineapple cake batter, cinnamon spice, and toasted pecans, which, of course, reminds us of the restaurant’s Hummingbird Cake that’s topped with vanillabean ice cream. Yum!
Pineapple Mango
We’re always in the mood for DOLE Whip! This classic Disney treat has been a staple of our trips since we started visiting the parks and while youc an buy some in the grtoery store, it’s not the same as getting it int he parks. This candle with notes of ripe pineapple juice, mango, and vine-ripened raspberry reminds us of our favorite treat, down to the color!
Almond Croissant
For this one, we’re heading to the France Pavilion in EPCOT. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (or as we call it, the bakery in France) always smells like freshly baked bread. I have no idea if they’re just always baking fresh bread or if they pump it in, but it’s seriously incredible. The Almond Croissant scent is built with toasted almonds, vanilla glaze, and flaky croissant. Sounds good enough to eat — but don’t do that.
Japanese Cherry Blossom
One of our go-to scents at Bath and Body Works is Japanese Cherry Blossom, and we can’t help but think of the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT. The scent has notes of Japanese cherry blossom, Asian pear, fresh mimosa petals, white jasmine, and blooming sandalwood, which reminds us of walking inside the stores in the pavilion.
Lakeside Morning
This is the one you’ve been waiting for! Lakeside Morning is the scent people SWEAR smells like the water in Pirates of the Caribbean! If that’s one of your favorite attractions and you can recognize that smell anywhere, you might love the fragrance with crisp autumn air, white driftwood, and a hint of green apple.
