One thing I absolutely love about my job is being able to say: DISNEY WORLD RELEASED A NEW POPCORN BUCKET!!! And yes, I want to scream it.
New popcorn bucket has arrived
New popcorn buckets and sippers are a big deal around here, and to me, it’s not a trip to the parks without a bucket of popcorn swinging off my backpack. A new one just dropped at Hollywood Studios, and it has me even MORE excited for the Monstropolis expansion being built. Is this a sign of all the good souvenirs we’re going to get once it opens?
Meet the Monsters, Inc. Scream Canister Popcorn Bucket! It costs $28 plus tax.
LOVE IT
It’s currently available at Hollywood Studios, with a limit of two per person per transaction, but it’s also coming to Disney California Adventure at a later date.
We love the details
The top of the lid flips over, and you can store your popcorn in it. It’s probably one of the more practical popcorn containers we’ve seen. Don’t get me wrong, I love some of the weird shapes, but it is nice to carry around a large amount of popcorn easily.
Fill her up!
I love the strap and how it has the different Monsters, Inc. characters in cartoon style. It also has the 40th anniversary Pixar logo on it.

Oh yes, it LIGHTS UP! That way, you can see how many screams are in the container (or popcorn, I guess?).
It lights up, too
Yep, we’re obsessed. We grabbed ours from a popcorn cart on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard, but you can check around other carts for the bucket and the new Little Green Men Jetpack Sipper.
