Today is DinoLand U.S.A.’s last day of operation, and while the feeling of nostalgia and slight sadness as everyone realizes this is the final time they’ll walk through the land.
While we’re seeing some really high wait times for the attraction itself, which was to be expected, what’s really been amazing is how incredible the costumes from guests have been. We love the creativity that Disney guests can bring to the parks to showcase the things that they love, and we’ve seen that A LOT today.
What’s been really tricky about things today is how COLD it is! It was below freezing this morning, and the wind chill kept things even COLDER, so we were pleasantly surprised to see how many people were still able to get dressed up to celebrate the ride. Early on in the day, we spotted @itstoughtobeabailey (left) and @knife_chamber (right) in their incredible outfits!
We didn’t think things could get any better, but then around 11 AM, we spotted a GIANT group of Dr. Seekers in front of the attraction. Yes, there were numerous Disney fans who all dressed up as the iconic character from the ride in honor of him, and to say goodbye to all the time-traveling they’ve experienced at his hands. We thought this was SO fun and so creative!
This just goes to show that if you’re a fan of pretty much anything in Disney World, you can find others who love it just as much as you, and we encourage you to find those friends and have tons of fun together!
