Disney shared a look at the NEW menu coming to Harambe Market in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This Quick Service dining location closed on October 20th, 2025, for refurbishment and was scheduled to officially reopen on February 5th, but it soft-opened early, and we already got to visit — you can read our review here!
Prior to closing, Harambe Market’s menu offered a variety of rice bowls, pitas, Caesar salads, and other snacks and beverages. But now, things are a little different.
Disney previously shared a look at six of the menu items that will be available at Harambe Market. (And we got a chance to try some of them too.) We saw the menu was updated on the My Disney Experience app, and we’re pretty excited about the choices!
You can grab a Bacon Cheeseburger for $13.99. There’s also a Cheeseburger without bacon for $13.29. Both are served with lettuce, tomato, and French fries.
There are also Chicken Strips available for $10.99.
If you are looking for something lighter, you can grab a Savanna Salad, which is a salad of mixed greens, lentils, carrots, couscous, kachumbari, toasted almonds, and a citrus-harissa dressing for $11.29.
The Harissa Chicken Wrap is also available (you can currently grab it at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery). It looks like it is served with fries instead of the chips like at Kusafiri. It’s made with chilled tandoori rotisserie chicken with harissa mayo wrapped in a flour tortilla and served with French fries for $10.99.
There is also a Kubwa Cookie, which is topped with chocolate cream, potato chips, M&M’s, and dulce de leche, for $5.29.
Plus, you can grab a Harambe Sunrise, which is Jungle Juice with wild strawberry and Corazon Blanco Tequila for $14.50.
There are other items listed on the menu as well, including:
- Side of French Fries — $5.49
- Frozen Flamingo — $6.59
- Watermelon Lemonade — $6.29
- Safari Amber – St. Louis, MO 20 oz. draft — $12.50
- Tampa Bay Reef Donkey APA – Tampa Bay, FL 20 oz. — $12.50
- Kid’s Meals including Cheeseburger, Chicken Strips, and a PB&J Uncrustable
- Allergy-friendly options

Ugh how generic
So in place of the more unique offerings of various rice bowls and pitas they’re going with tired old hamburgers and chicken strips. This is a definite downgrade IMHO.
Sad. Harambe Market used to have good food. Looks like its turning into yet another ‘shove something blah in your child’s mouth’ stop. Will avoid it now.
I was disappointed when they replaced the ribs and famous sausages with bowls but at least the bowls had African inspired flavors. Burgers and chicken tenders is a basic bummer.
Sad. It’s just an Americanized park menu rather than something that connected to the theme of the park area. Definitely a move in a bad direction. Leadership involved when Animal Kingdom opened would certainly be disappointed.
Replacing a fun market with some unique offerings with burgers and chicken nuggets is a major disappointment and leaves me wondering why. How about some affordable African food?
Surprising decision.
You used to be able to get a great variety of food at Disney Parks, now its all burgers and chicken strips. What a shame, just makes want to eat off-site. I remember getting roasted chicken, ribs and salmon meals at quick service places. FYI Disney many Adults go to your parks that dont eat like 6yr old kids.
This used to be one of the only places to get unique, plant based food. Now it is just the same junk food you can get at any fast food place and the salad is the option for vegetarians. Really sad
