Did you know that you can get nearly any piece of clothing embroidered at Magic Kingdom? Any pair of Mickey Ears, t-shirts, or bags can be embroidered with almost anything you want, right at Disney World!
Curtain Call Collectibles at Magic Kingdom has an embroidery station where you can take any piece of merchandise bought on Disney property for on-site embroidery. You order and fill out a customization form at the store, hang out in Magic Kingdom for a few hours, and then pick up your one-of-a-kind souvenir on your way out. Here’s how!
Curtain Call Collectibles is located on Main Street, U.S.A. To get to the store, head to the Town Square Theater building beside the park’s east entrance, then take the stairs or ramp right beside the park’s main entrance tunnel, and the closest set of double doors is the lobby of Curtain Call Collectibles.
They can embroider anything bought on Disney property with a few caveats – most often Mickey Ears, baseball caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts – anything with room for embroidery with a fabric that can fit under their machines can be embroidered.
A basic name embroidery will cost $4.99, and premium options start at $7.99. The premium option is the most customizable, with nine color options – gold, white, black, purple, red, light pink, dark pink, light blue, and dark blue. There are also three fonts to choose from, and up to two lines of text at 16 characters per line.
We recommend getting to Curtain Call Collectibles and ordering embroidery as soon as you get to the park. It’s a very small space with only three embroidery machines, so on busy days it can take a few hours. Most guides say to expect a three-hour wait at most, but on peak crowds like spring break or the holidays, plan for up to six hours just in case.
Curtain Call Collectibles stays open an hour after the park closes, so there’s no rush to pick up your souvenirs. They also sell Disney merchandise like t-shirts, hats, and pins right next to the embroidery stand. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Magic Kingdom news!
