FINALLY! Disneyland is finally sharing some of its iconic snacks with Disney World, and we’re diving into the Hundred Acre Woods to try them.
We headed to Goofy’s Candy Company at Disney Springs to try two Disneyland treats to see if us East Coast folks can skip a trip to the West. Okay, you probably still need to visit Disneyland, but at least you know you can grab these snacks in Disney World, so you can focus on other treats during your visit.
First, we tried the Tigger Tail Marshmallow Wand, which is covered in a cholatey colored coating for $6.49.
This marshmallow wand is built with three marshmallows and dipped in white chocolate and then decorated to make it look like Tigger’s bouncing tail! We thought the dye in the chocolate gave this one a sweeter, more vanilla-like flavor. They were easy to eat since you can pull the marshmallows off individually or eat off the stick — we didn’t find them falling off, which we really appreciated. It was sticky and fluffy, just like marshmallows should be!
The Winnie the Pooh Marshmallow Wand is also covered in colored chocolate, but with red singing sugar and a chocolatey honey bee, also for $6.49.
This one is very similar to the Tigger Tai, but the coating had a slightly different flavor because of the different dyes. The yellow was a bit more muted in flavor, but the red on top tasted stronger (kinda like the dye in a red velvet cake!). The sugar crystals added a nice crunch, and while the honey bee was too hard to really eat, we thought it was a cute addition.
Both tails come individually wrapped, so it’s easy to grab the snack and throw it in your backpack or devour it in one sitting like we did. The snacks are super sugary, covered in chocolate and dye, and a solid treat to enjoy. They make for super cute pictures, too. Likely, this isn’t going to be the most unique treat you try on your Disney World trip, but kids are going to love it, and sometimes it’s nice to have a treat you know you’re going to love.
Here at Disney Food Blog, we’re always trying new snacks around Disney World and Disneyland so you can know what’s worth the money during your visit. Make sure you keep following DFB for more!
