REVIEW: EPCOT Has a GIANT New Savory Crepe and It's Exactly as Amazing as It Sounds

I was not prepared for how good this new savory snack at Disney World would be.

Le Bete de Crepe or The Beast Crepe

There are EPCOT snacks…and then there are EPCOT snacks that make you stop walking, stop talking, and immediately plan your next bite. A new savory snack in EPCOT falls firmly into the second category. Tucked away in the France Pavilion, this galette surprised us in the best possible way, and we’re still thinking about it long after leaving!

If you’re heading to EPCOT anytime soon and you love savory snacks, I need you to put La Bête de Crêpe (or the Beast Crêpe) at the top of your list, because this might be one of the best things we’ve eaten in the France Pavilion lately!

The Beast Crepe

You’ll find it at Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris (the quick service window offering up some of the most delicious sweet and savory snacks in all of Disney World) for $15.95, and honestly, it’s worth stopping for even if the line looks intimidating. This is a savory galette, and it’s filled with cheese, mushrooms, ham, and arugula — BUT the way these flavors come together is what makes it special!

Let’s talk about the real star of the show first: the cheese. There’s a layer of cheese that gets baked right onto the top of the galette, creating this super crunchy, tangy crust that adds the most satisfying texture with every bite. It’s the kind of crunch you don’t expect, and once you notice it, you can’t stop thinking about it. Absolute perfection.

Inside, the galette is warm, hearty, and rich without being too heavy. The mushrooms are used just enough to add that deep, savory umami flavor that balances out all the cheese. If you’re someone who’s sometimes on the fence about mushrooms, don’t worry, these don’t overpower the dish at all. They just quietly make everything taste better. The ham adds another layer of savory goodness, and then the peppery arugula comes in at the end to brighten everything up and cut through the richness. That little bit of freshness is exactly what this dish needs.

And can we talk about the size? This thing is huge!! Like, genuinely big enough to share (though we wouldn’t judge you at all if you didn’t want to.) It’s filling, comforting, and feels more like a meal than a snack, which is honestly a win when you’re spending a full day walking around World Showcase.

La Bête de Crêpe is one of those items that makes you pause mid-bite and go, “Wow, this is REALLY good.” If you’re craving something savory, warm, and packed with flavor, this galette is a must-order. Trust us — this is one EPCOT snack you’ll be thinking about long after your trip ends.
