This might be the most underrated Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival experience.

While festival booths get a lot of attention, Disney’s Beverage Seminars quietly offer one of the most immersive Food & Wine Festival experiences. With expert-led tastings, smaller group settings, and a relaxed pace, their return is welcome news for Disney adults looking to elevate their visit.
Disney food and beverage lovers alike are getting something to raise a glass to — the Beverage Education Seminars are returning to Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival for 2026! Known for celebrating California cuisine with delicious eats, creative cocktails, specialty wines, and craft beers sprinkled throughout the park, the Food & Wine Festival is once again bringing back these educational tastings that go beyond your typical sip and savor experience.

Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival (2025)
Taking place as part of the 2026 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival and scheduled to run from March 6th through April 27th, the beverage seminars provide a more interactive way to explore the world of drinks alongside your festival favorites. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, a budding mixologist, or just someone who enjoys learning a little bit more about what’s in your glass, these sessions are a fun way to elevate your visit.

Unlike the regular festival marketplace tastings, where you walk up and enjoy small-plate bites and refreshing sips along the parade route, beverage seminars are bookable, ticketed experiences designed for a deeper dive into flavor, technique, and pairing. In previous years, the lineup has included themed wine and spirits education, mixology sessions where you can learn how to build cocktails, and guided tastings where experts break down tasting notes and varietals.

These seminars typically take place in more intimate settings inside the park, such as Sonoma Terrace, and are tailored for participants 21 and older, making them a perfect addition to an adults’ day out at Disney California Adventure. Past events also showed that seminars often require reservations and an additional fee on top of park admission, so planning ahead is key if you want to secure a spot.

Tickets are on sale now online and will run you $30 each; however, you will still need valid theme park admission, too.
One of the best parts about these seminars is how they complement the overall festival vibe. The Food & Wine Festival already offers a cornucopia of small plates, California craft beers, specialty wines, and creative cocktails at its Festival Marketplaces throughout the park, but the seminars add education and exploration to the mix. You’ll get the chance to learn what makes certain wines pair well with specific foods, or how professional bartenders balance flavors in cocktails — knowledge you can carry home long after your tasting passes have been used.

In addition to these beverage sessions, the Food & Wine Festival features plenty more to drink and learn about, including culinary demonstrations, live entertainment, and festival-exclusive receptions that often tie into wine and spirits themes. It’s part tasting, part education, and all fun for those who want to immerse themselves in California’s vibrant food and beverage culture.
If you’re planning a trip to the Disney California Adventure this spring, adding a beverage seminar to your itinerary can be a delightful way to deepen your festival experience while expanding your palate and understanding of what you’re tasting while soaking in the sights, sounds, and, of course, the flavors of Disney California Adventure. We’ll be out to see, do, and eat everything at this year’s upcoming festival! Be sure to stay tuned with us right here at DFB.
