Disney just filed a NEW permit for work to be done at the Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Disney has been on a roll recently with filing a variety of permits, including permits for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, the new Indiana Jones ride in Animal Kingdom, the Magic Kingdom expansion, Haunted Mansion, the Imagination Pavilion, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and more.
The newest permit was filed by Disney Live Entertainment for work to be done at 1250 E Savannah Circle (the address of the Conservation Station). The permit is to “install a new transformer, disconnect, 200A panel, and 100A relay panel for future addition in EER room.” The work will be performed by Maddox Electric Company LLC, located in Winter Garden, FL. Maddox Electric Company LLC is an electrical contractors that specialize in commercial and industrial construction projects throughout Central Florida.
While it doesn’t specifically state that the permit is for work related to the new Bluey Experience coming to the Conservation Station, there are a few hints that suggest it could be. First of all, the permit was prepared by Disney Live Entertainment, which will likely be the department responsible for the new Bluey experience. Also, the address matches the Conservation Station, so the work will be done there. So, it is definitely possible the permit could be related to the arrival of Bluey.
What exactly is the new Bluey experience? So far, Disney has announced that a new Bluey experience is coming to the Conservation Station. Guests will be able to play and dance with Bluey and Bingo. Plus, there will be the opportunity to play games from Bluey episodes, like butterly keepy uppy, and to experience animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia.
While Disney hasn’t officially announced the extent to which Bluey will take over the Conservation Station, we have spoken with Cast Members there, and it sounds like most of the current experiences will be closed. Cast Members we spoke to said that the Animation Experience and the Affection Section could be going away for good to make way for this new experience. Again, Disney has not officially confirmed the closure of these other experiences, but based on information from multiple Cast Members, the Conservation Station will undergo significant changes when Bluey comes.
