Disney Just Dropped a FIRST LOOK at ‘The Muppets Show’

It’s time to play the music. It’s time to light the lights. It’s time to meet the Muppets on The Muppet Show tonight! Or, should we say coming soon?!

Disney just dropped the first official teaser trailer for the brand-new version of The Muppet Show that will be released on February 4th, 2026. This 30-second teaser might not have shown too much, but it’s enough to get any fan of The Muppets excited — WHICH WE ARE!

Ok, don’t freak out, but it’s officially time for The Muppet Show to return! The trailer starts with Kermit turning on the stage lights and exclaiming just that, shouting, “It’s the return of The Muppet Show”. After that, the theme starts playing, and fans get a montage of some of their favorite Muppets — including Gonzo, Beaker, Sweetums, and more!

We get our first look at none other than Sabrina Carpenter in the show, too. The trailer features a scene with Sabrina telling Miss Piggy, “she’s an icon”, before showing off their matching outfits.

We also get our first look at Executive Producer, Seth Rogen, in the show. The teaser featured a scene of him talking to Fozzy, exclaiming that it’s always been a dream of his to be on the show. You can check out the full teaser below!

The new show will officially premiere on Disney+ and ABC on February 4th, 2026. Make sure to have those Disney+ subscriptions renewed, because you’re not going to want to miss this!

It’s going to be a good year for Muppets fans. Not only are we getting a brand-new show, but Disney World will also be getting the first-ever Muppets-themed roller coaster. Disney is retheming the Rock n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the Muppets, and although there is no official opening date yet, it will be opening this year!
