When it comes to Lightning Lane Multi Passes at the Magic Kingdom, not all demand is created equal.
Disney’s current “skip-the-line” system, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, was introduced in 2024. The system, which allows guests to plan ahead of their visit and choose up to 3 Multi Pass experiences and arrival windows in a theme park (7 days in advance of their stay for Disney hotel guests and 3 days in advance for non-hotel guests), is currently available for 18 attractions at Walt Disney World’s original theme park.
Over the past year, we’ve tracked Disney’s Lightning Lanes each and every day, and compiled that data to determine which attractions “sell out” of their allotted amount of Lightning Lane Multi Passes the fastest on an average day.
When reading this list, remember that TRON Lightcycle/Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are only available for the separate Lightning Lane Single Pass option.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the fastest Magic Kingdom attraction to sell out of its allotted Lightning Lanes on average is the newest attraction on the list: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The attraction, which opened back in the early summer of 2024, usually has no Lightning Lanes left by 9:15 AM on average.
The second quickest to sell out on average during the period we’re taking the data from was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which was out of allotted Lightning Lane reservations by 11:12 AM. This coaster has been closed for a massive refurbishment since January 2025, and given the built-in demand and the updates coming to the attraction (YAY Rainbow Caverns), these Lightning Lanes will likely sell out even quicker.
The next three quickest attractions to run out of Lightning Lanes were Peter Pan’s Flight, Jungle Cruise, and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, which ran out at 12:40, 12:49, and 1:30 PM, respectively.
On the other side of the spectrum, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin had the dubious distinction of taking the longest to run out of reservations during the eligibility period, as the attraction didn’t run out of Lightning Lanes until 8:31 PM on average. It will be interesting to see if Lightning Lane demand for the ride — which is currently closed for a refurbishment –ticks upward when it reopens with new ride vehicles, new blasters, and a new show scene in 2026.
According to our research, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had the quickest-moving Lightning Lanes at the Magic Kingdom over the last year, with Peter Pan’s Flight, Jungle Cruise, and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh rounding out the Top 5.
