The My Disney Experience app just got an update — and it is going to be a game-changer for anyone with a Disney Visa card! Have you ever been at Disney World trying to hunt down the list of discounts your card gets? Or maybe you were trying to find the details of the exclusive Disney Character Experience?

Well, it just got SO much easier to see all of the perks of the Disney Visa card! There has been a new update to the My Disney Experience app, and we are loving how easy it is to see all the perks now. Let’s take a look at how you can access the new portal and what it looks like!
A NEW Disney Visa portal is now available in the My Disney Experience app! No more going back and forth to see your discounts on the Disney Visa website, as you can access all the information in the My Disney Experience app. To access the portal in the My Disney Experience app, you will need to link your Disney Visa to your account. To do this, log in to the My Disney Experience app, tap on the hamburger menu, select “Profile”, then select “Payment Method”. Add your Disney Visa to your payment methods, and then the Disney Visa portal should appear on the home screen of the My Disney Experience app.

Once you have linked your card, you can access the Cardmember portal and have easy access to all of the perks! For instance, say you are in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and curious which restaurants offer discounts. You can head into the portal and find that Roundup Rodeo BBQ, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, and The Hollywood Brown Derby all offer 10% off! Each park has its own section, so you can easily find what discounts are available.

You can even find the discounts for dining and shopping at Disney Springs!

There is even a section for dining, shopping, and experience discounts at the Disney World hotels. Saving 10% at Boma – Flavors of Africa? Count us in!

Plus, you can find information about your discounts for experiences like the Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom — you can save 15% on the tour!

I have my Disney visa saved in the my Disney experience app but I am not seeing the perks. I even logged in and out of the app. I have to search instead of it appearing on the welcome screen.
How do you get the discount? Do you have to mention it to the cast member when you pay(similar to dvc/annual pass discounts)?
It’s under the home page. You have to scroll down pretty far to find it, but its there. Make sure the app has been updated.
Do you know if or when it will be on the Disneyland app?
