Full confession: I’m on my phone a LOT when I’m at Disney World. Of course, part of that is for my job, where I’m taking pictures and videos of the best food around, but even if you’re not setting out to review food, you’ll still be on your phone more than you think.
From taking photos of the fireworks, characters, and the family, to booking Lightning Lanes and your next dining reservation, to even checking wait times and where the ride is on a map, your phone battery draining is not an uncommon occurrence. We found the best battery packs for you to throw into your bag before heading to the parks to save your phone (and your sanity)!
FuelRod MAx10
Just look at this bad boy! This battery is MagSafe, so you can slip it on the back of your phone so you don’t have to deal with cables (but you can also use a cord if you prefer). You can also switch it out for free across Disney World once the battery drains, so you always have a full battery. We’ve found that when we’ve used these, we only need to switch them out at the end of the day, and since we’re always on our phones, this is a total win.
FuelRod 2 Pack
This is FuelRod Max10’s little brother and has been a staple of our battery pack family for years. You can also switch these out for free at Disney World, and with the two-pack, you can always keep a fully charged one on you. It comes with a variety of cables, and we like the small size so we can either hold it with our phone in our hand or use a longer cable and tuck it in our backpack pocket. I personally have about four of these that are always in my bag.
INIU Portable Charger
Another one we’ve used for years! We love how slim this is, so it doesn’t feel bulky when we hold it without our phone. It’s super easy to charge at night in our hotel and to throw in our bags for later. We’ve also tried other versions of this in the past, and we think the brand has truly listened to the user and made the best possible version of their product. It’s reliable and durable, too.
3 in 1 Charging Station
This one lives in my suitcase, so I always have it when I travel. You can charge your phone, AirPods, and Apple Watch all on one device, which is perfect to not have an excess of cables and cords lying around. It plugs into an outlet, so you’re not taking up valuable USB space, and I love how, after I check my phone in the middle of the night, I can slide this back into its charging spot and it almost “clicks” into place.
