It might be a little cooler in Florida during the holiday season right now, but you can’t deny a good day at a Disney water park!

Blizzard Beach
Blizzard Beach has been closed for refurbishment for a while, but it looks like we won’t have to wait too long to catch some waves at the water park again. Disney just announced the date when Blizzard Beach will reopen at Disney World.
Get ready to enjoy some water fun at the Frozen-themed water park very soon. Disney just announced that Blizzard Beach will reopen on February 15th, 2026. This will be just in time for the warm spring season — we need the weather to warm up a little anyway (yes, it gets somewhat cold here!).

Blizzard Beach
With Blizzard Beach reopening, the other water park will be closing for a little while. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will be closing on February 14th, 2026. So, you have from now till then to enjoy the popular water park.

If you hadn’t heard, Disney’s water park seasonal passes ARE BACK! So, grab a pass for just $89 for adults and $83 for kids ages 3-9, and enjoy some water park fun. Just make sure you pay attention to when your trip is, as block-out dates occur from March 28, 2026, through April 5, 2026.

These new seasonal passes for the water parks have some new, extra special perks. You can get 20% off your cabana when you first arrive at the water park, as it is a walk-up deal only. You can also grab that same deal at Typhoon Lagoon when you visit the cabanas at the Beachcomber Shacks.

If you need a break from the splash, your seasonal pass will also include one round of mini golf. You can visit either Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf when you visit BEFORE 4 PM. Be sure to take advantage of this perk, as there’s only ONE round of golf included in your pass over the season.
