We have to say, we have the best readers on the planet. It’s because of all of YOU that learn about changes in the parks that others might have skipped over. Drew Hagen contacted us with a change in Disney World’s souvenir shipping policy, and after a visit to Disney Springs for ourselves, we can confirm there’s a huge price jump.
Shipping Center
If you didn’t know, Disney has shipping locations available where you can send home souvenirs you’ve purchased in the parks to save some space in your luggage, including some of the weird-shaped items like lightsabers and droids. Previously, the prices ranged from $20 to $40, depending on the value of your merchandise, but get ready to pay a bit more for it!
You can ship merchandise home at Disney World at the Marketplace Co-Op Shipping location, but make sure to bring your recipes so the Cast Member can calculate the total value of the items. Right now, the prices are:
- $19.99 for packages between $0-$100 in value
- $34.99 for packages between $100.01-$250 in value
- $74.99 for packages between $250.01-$500 in value
- $99.99 for packages between $501.01 and higher in value
It’s a Shipping Post!
Before this change, for packages between $0 $500, it could cost between $20 and $34.99, and any value over $500.01 would cap out at $39.99. Yeah, uhm, that’s a HUGE increase.
Keep the special stuff with you
How can you combat this? If you can’t fit all of your souvenirs, it might be better to keep the most expensive items with you and ship the less expensive items to keep the value of the package lower. You can also visit nearby postal stores and pack your own items there. There’s a UPS Store in Flamingo Crossings, which is directly next to Disney World.

We were also told that it can take up to two weeks for delivery, so if it’s something you plan on gifting or need by a certain date, it’s also best to keep that with you.
