Walt Disney Presents is an often underrated part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we have a feeling it’s about to be jam-packed for the next few weeks thanks to a new exhibit!
You can head in here to find lots of information and details on how Walt Disney created his films, Disneyland, as well as Disney World before he passed, but there are also additional exhibits added for new films and TV shows that get added to Disney+. Right now, you can find a whole section on some of the new lands coming to Disney World, but the one that’s really catching people’s attention? It’s a display of THREE of Taylor Swift’s tour outfits to celebrate the release of “The End of an Era” on Disney+!
The new display is located almost immediately beside the expansions display at the end of the hall, closer to where you can head into the theater to see One Man’s Dream (or whatever other show is playing at that time, as they do change!). When we arrived, there was a pretty big crowd of people around it, but everyone was very nice, stepping back to allow others to take photos and videos.
It was very self-controlled, as there weren’t Cast Members around controlling the crowd, but those around do ask that if you come by to take pictures and videos that you scoot as close to the display as possible to let other people get through the highway as easily as possible, especially because scooters and ECVs are larger and need more space.
There are three costumes on display that were seen in Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, and are also represented in the six-episode documentary, and each one has its own plaque.
- Karma Bodysuit Jacket and Boots
- The Tortured Poets Department Dress and Boots
- reputation Gold Snake Bodysuit
As of right now, there’s no official end date for when this display will no longer be available, so we recommend heading to see it sooner rather than later, if you’re able!
“The End of an Era” is a 6-episode documentary series available on Disney+ that takes you into the rehearsal spaces and backstage of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. You’ll watch as The Eras Tour evolves from concept to the worldwide phenomenon that people still can’t stop talking about. It’s an in-depth look into Taylor’s life during the tour as well, and also features family and friends like Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch.
Two episodes are released a week, beginning with episodes one and two on December 12th (so they’re streaming now!), while episodes three and four will be released on December 19th, and the final two episodes will become available on December 26th. However, you can also watch Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show on Disney+ now, which is the concert movie filmed in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, the final stop of the Eras tour, which also features the entire set of “The Tortured Poets Department” for the first time.
