Who’s ready for a TON of Disneyland Paris news? And when we say “a ton,” we really mean it — there’s so much to cover!
We’ve known for months now that Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, soon to be Disney Adventure World, would be undergoing a series of refurbishments, changes, and additions, but as we get closer to them, we’re getting to hear more and more details on what to expect. Strap in, friends, because there are lots of updates to cover!
It was previously announced that World of Frozen and Adventure Way are set to open on March 29th, 2026, but many other projects are underway that we have new details for.
Frontierland
By the end of Summer 2026, you’ll be able to see more magic at the Rivers of the Far West attraction in Frontierland! Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing will have new scenes that are inspired by the original drawings of Imagineer and Disney Legend Marc Davis.
The new figures in the scenes, a buffalo on a prairie and raccoons and a skunk on a floating log, were created by the Disneyland Paris Imagineering team. You’ll be able to see the new scenes as you sail on the Molly Brown boat, which has recently been entirely renovated.
But what’s happening in Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World)? As it turns out, a LOT!
Tower of Terror
In Spring 2026, a new covered outdoor waiting area will be available as part of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror queue! The new area really enhances the story of the hotel, as it represents the remnants of the Patio, which was once a relaxing courtyard with an outdoor pool, enjoyed by the business elite, but now it’s fallen into disrepair.
The details also match the Pueblo Deco architecture of the rest of the premises, and the props and elements of decor in the queue will give guests more clues as to what happened at The Hollywood Tower Hotel, so you’ll want to pay very close attention!
Right next to the attraction, a new merchandise location will be opening that is inspired by 1930s flower shops in early 2026! The existing structure has been entirely redesigned and rethemed so it will blend in seamlessly with World Premiere Plaza and its Art Deco-inspired theatre district area.
Be sure to look closely at all the period-specific details, like the flower bouquets, pictures celebrating historical milestones, and a fridge similar to those used by Californian florists in the 1930s!
Minnie’s Dream Factory
Also in Walt Disney Studios Park, Minnie’s Dream Factory is back after being closed for a short time. It’ll reopen on February 7th, 2026 with an all-new story that celebrates teamwork and creativity.
Minnie Mouse will take center stage as the factory’s caring director, and is joined by Chip ‘n Dale as the comedic duo they are, Donald Duck managing the technical needs, and Daisy Duck there to keep it all running. The reimagined theatre has a new appearance, including playful nods to Minnie and a vibrant new lighting atmosphere, as well as gorgeous new costumes and other surprises.
An All-New Nighttime Show
“Disney Cascade of Lights,” a new nighttime spectacular, will come to Disney Adventure World on March 29th, 2026, and it’ll be unlike anything else Disney guests have ever seen! The new show will feature aquatic drones gliding across Adventure Bay, will have a 360° design that will ensure incredible views from every angle, and the heart of the show will be an emotional score recorded at Abbey Road Studios by a 90-piece orchestra, featuring the original anthem “We Can Be Heroes.”
It certainly sounds incredible, and we can’t wait to see how these enhanced drones look!
Disney Village
Another announcement was made that will affect Disney Village, the shopping and dining district nearby to the parks. Annette’s Diner will close on January 5th, 2026, for multiple months to undergo a refurbishment that will include enlarging the kitchens and completely refurbishing the dining room, including floors and furniture. Don’t worry, though, the same charm and retro atmosphere that’s been around since 1992 will be preserved!
The bar will sport a new design to match the distinctive chrome look of classic diners, and the booths will be reminiscent of 1950s car seats in colors like pink, blue, and vanilla yellow. We can’t wait to see what it looks like when it reopens!
