Something WEIRD Is Happening at a Popular Disneyland Resort Restaurant

One of our favorite things to do on a Disneyland Resort visit is to EAT, and there are some places we absolutely love.

Lamplight Lounge Mimosa Flight

One of the most popular choices for dining in Disney California Adventure is Lamplight Lounge! This Pixar-themed spot can be a challenging reservation to snag, and their brunch is a fan-favorite. But it looks like it may be having a closure soon.

According to the Disneyland Resort website, Lamplight Lounge and Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining are listed on the refurbishment calendar starting on January 12th. If you look at the Lamplight Lounge page on the website, there are currently no hours listed for January 12th-15th, 2026. After the 15th, only dinner hours are listed (no brunch hours listed at this time).

Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining’s page doesn’t show hours from January 12th through the end of the calendar, which is currently listed through January 30th. Disney hasn’t confirmed any changes coming to either of these spaces or announced a closure yet.

Based on the basic information available on the website, it looks like the restaurant may be closed for a few days for some kind of refurbishment. If Lamplight Lounge is only set to close from the 12th-15th, it likely can’t be any changes that are too major. As for brunch hours not being listed, we wouldn’t panic yet — we might see them back on the calendar closer to those dates.
