There are SO many hotel projects happening around Disney World these days.
The Beach Club!
From minor construction and refurbishment to full-scale room renovations and pool overhauls, it can be hard to tell what scrim and construction walls you may encounter during your vacation. Recently, a major project wrapped up at Disney’s Beach Club — the porte cochere is looking fresh and new again!
During a recent visit to the Beach Club Resort, we noticed that the construction that was happening on and around the porte cochere is FINALLY complete! This project was going on for quite a while, with construction barriers, tarps, and crews filling the space on our last several visits.
The updated look!
There haven’t been any major changes made to the design — it seems as though it was just time for a little refresh. But now, cars can pull up underneath the awning once again, and the drop-off procedures are as usual.
It’s important to note that there will be other construction projects here through 2027, so you may encounter noise, equipment, construction walls, or other signs of work being done during your visit.
Back to normal!
The Beach Club Resort is one of Disney World’s most popular hotels, and it’s particularly popular for daytime visitors right now due to the gingerbread carousel display. This year’s design features a stunning rotating carousel with horses inspired by classic holiday treats.

Since the Grand Floridian gingerbread display isn’t happening this year, Beach Club’s display has been all the more popular. They offer a selection of holiday snacks for purchase in the lobby as well. This could be a great way to do some resort hopping during your vacation! While you’re at it, make sure to check out the BoardWalk gingerbread display next door and the Yacht Club Christmas village.
