In October, Disney revealed that Soarin’ Around the World would become Soarin’ Across America, and even Patrick Warburton made a video to help share the news.

We knew this change would hit Disney California Adventure in summer 2026, but now, we have an exact date!
Soarin’ Across America will debut at Disneyland Resort on July 2nd, 2026. This is just in time for the Fourth of July celebrations in the park.

Disney did not reveal any additional details at this time, but we know this is to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. The iconic Soarin’ scenery will showcase some of the country’s recognizable cityscapes and natural beauty.
The current iteration of the ride is called Soarin’ Around the World and takes riders around the globe, of course! It features stops in Paris, Brazil, China, Germany, Fiji, and more. This change was also confirmed for the ride in EPCOT at Disney World, but a date has not been revealed just yet. We expect it to be around the same time to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Typically, during the Food & Wine Festival, Disney switches Soarin’ to the original version — Soarin’ Over California. This would still work with these dates since the 2026 Food & Wine Festival is set to take place from March 6th to April 27th. This has not been confirmed by Disney just yet, but it’s what has happened in the past.
