It’s getting busy at Disney World, and that is creating some dining complications.
We visit Disney World every single day — even during the busiest of times. We’ve literally seen it all, and yet, there are still some trends that throw us off or disrupt our day. Such is the case with a problem that is plaguing Disney World hotel restaurants these days.
A big task during our Disney World days is to do what any regular guest would do. That includes grabbing breakfast — whether it be at the parks or hotels. During a recent morning visit to the Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, we were met with a harsh reality.
When we went to place a mobile order for breakfast with the My Disney Experience app, we were met with an annoying time window pushed further out than we’d like.
While trying to make an immediate mobile order, the earliest we could get for an Arrival Window was 30 minutes out. If you’re in a rush like we were, this can really set back your day.
Ultimately, it’s another reminder that you should probably place a morning mobile order at the hotels (and parks, frankly) as early as you’re willing to — just in case. Remember that you can choose a later pick-up window when you order!
Around the holidays, the entire Disney World Resort gets pretty busy, and that just increases demand at all the restaurants. Next time we want to get breakfast, we’ll be ordering at least 30 minutes early or coming to terms that we may have to eat a little later than we’d like.
