Happy Holidays to all our DFB friends. Now, ’tis the season for all things holly and jolly, right?
Well, it’s also the season for Advent calendars, which generally offer a little gift to you every day of December leading up to Christmas. Well, we decided to see which Advent calendars were the best, so we’re reviewing three that we think you and your family will love.
Get the Bluey Advent Calendar
Okay, who loves Bluey? Well, Bluey fans are going to love this Bluey Advent Calendar that comes with 24 days of little booklets all about Bluey and her adventures.
Each little booklet tells a story from a Bluey episode or has a fun activity.
We love that this is an age-appropriate Advent calendar with so many different stories. Little ones will look forward to each day’s booklet since it gives them some interaction with Bluey without needing a screen. Note that the books are made out of paper, which isn’t always something toddlers handle adeptly, but you still get a ton of them. The boxes are also easy to open, and the quality of the Advent calendar is good.
Get the Thomas Kinkade Advent Calendar
Okay, so this Advent calendar is currently sold out, but we have to talk about it (and it could come back in stock at some point). This is an Advent calendar with 24 little puzzles that build into a 1,000-piece puzzle at the end of the 24th day. SO cool!
If you love Disney and puzzles, this is for you! Each little puzzle has an adhesive on the back that you can stick to adhesive sheets to put each puzzle on.
The artwork on the puzzles is also stunning, and the quality of the puzzle that you get for the price is PERFECT. The only thing we didn’t like was that there are some days that don’t actually finish a puzzle. Some puzzles took several days to complete. This puzzle is still beginner-friendly, but will also please longtime puzzle lovers.
Get the Disney Charm Bracelet Advent Calendar
This Advent calendar lets you build a charm bracelet. One thing that really surprised us was the quality of the charms — they’re really nice! You get a wide range of charms, too — enough to make two bracelets.
However, we did feel that the box felt cheap, and each little box was hard to open without destroying the box.
This is a great gift for any little girl or young jewelry enthusiast. It’s also a lot cheaper than Pandora charm bracelets.
