It may be November right now, but Universal Orlando starts to celebrate Mardi Gras early, and that means we’re less than FOUR months away from the start of Mardi Gras 2026!
If you’ve been looking forward to details being released so you can plan your upcoming trip, that time is NOW. Universal Orlando has just released details about their 2026 Mardi Gras celebrations — here’s everything you need to know!
In 2026, Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval will take place from February 7th, 2026, through April 4th, 2026. It’s confirmed that their lively parade, high-energy street performers, and tons of colorful beads will all be returning in 2026, along with the diverse cuisine all around the park, and on select nights, guests can enjoy live performances from some of the biggest names in music.
The Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience will also be returning in 2026, which is where guests can enjoy a savory three-course meal on the day of their visit that features one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert, and one non-alcoholic beverage from one of five participating restaurants, and then ride on one of the parade floats that evening! It starts at $94.99 plus tax per person, and you can reserve your spot by calling 407-224-7554 or visiting the Universal Orlando website. The restaurants participating in 2026 are:
- The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar (Universal CityWalk)
- NBC Sports Grill & Brew (Universal CityWalk)
- Lombard’s Seafood Grille (Universal Studios Florida)
- Confisco Grille (Universal Islands of Adventure; 2-Park ticket required)
- Antojitos Authentic Mexican Restaurant (Universal CityWalk; available for dinner only)
Experiencing the majority of the Mardi Gras vibes will be included in park admission, so if you don’t want to do anything special, you don’t have to pay anything extra to see the parade, catch some beads, and see what food offerings are available (though the food had an additional cost, of course). More information will be revealed soon, and you can count on us to keep a close eye on all the latest news.
