First launched in 2023, Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios has gone on to become one of Disney World’s most popular Holiday events.

The after-hours party at Hollywood Studios features Christmas decor, entertainment offerings, merchandise, snacks, and Disney characters in their holiday best — including some new ones this year! 

Jollywood Nights features a slew of Disney characters, including some RARE appearances. This year, several characters are appearing at the event for the first time, including:

• Chewbacca – appearing at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and celebrating Life Day.
• Partysaurus Rex – appearing at Toy Story Land
• Bing Bong from Inside Out – appearing on Grand Avenue
• Miguel from Coco – appearing at Holiday Fiesta en la Calle near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

The Miguel meet-and-greet was very quick, but seeing him in his holiday outfit had us going un poco loco!

The line for Bing Bong was deceiving since there is a break that goes down the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge, but we only had to stand in it for about 10 minutes before getting to the break. So it’s not nearly as bad as we expected it to be.

Everybody who was passing by heading to the Galaxy’s Edge was literally calling out to Bing Bong and singing, and he was just rolling with it. Funny enough, it seemed to be mostly grown adults who were calling out to Bing Bong over the kids.

Partysaurus Rex was a popular meet-and-greet as well, and for good reason! Rex was in his party outfit — a Viking helmet, a wig, and a strand of lights for a necklace.

He truly was the life of the Christmas party, making guests smile and laugh.

We also have to admit, Rex knows how to put together a party fit!

We were excited to see all the characters, but we were most interested to see what Chewbacca would look like during the Christmas celebration. Or as they like to call it in a galaxy far, far away, Life Day!

Chewie was wearing a red robe and was excited to meet with guests for the celebration.

We can see this being a super popular meet-and-greet throughout the Christmas season for Jollywood Nights!

• Baloo or King Louie from TaleSpin – appearing at Echo Lake
• José Carioca or Panchito from The Three Caballeros – appearing near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
• Lotso from Toy Story 3 – appearing at Toy Story Land
• Bo Peep from the Toy Story movies – appearing at Toy Story Land
• The Mandalorian and Grogu – appearing at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
• Joy and Sadness from Inside Out – appearing at Pixar Place

• Phineas and Ferb – appearing at Echo Lake
• Max Goof as Powerline – appearing at Echo Lake
• Chip ‘n’ Dale from Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers – appearing at Echo Lake
• Stitch dressed as Santa – appearing at Celebrity Spotlight at Echo Lake
• Duffy dressed as Santa – appearing at Walt Disney Presents
• Edna Mode and Frozone from The Incredibles – appearing at Pixar Plaza

• Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. – appearing at Pixar Plaza
• Donald Duck and Daisy Duck – appearing near Commissary Lane
• Scrooge McDuck – appearing on Grand Avenue
• Goofy and Pluto – appearing on Grand Avenue
• Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse – appearing at Red Carpet Dreams

After beginning on November 8th, the 2025 Jollywood Nights event will take place on November 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th and 29th, as well as December 1st, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th and 22nd. Stay tuned to DFB for more on the event!
