Leave it to Disney to kick off its holiday celebrations EXTRA early. They’re excited — clearly. Yes, Disneyland’s holiday season will be here soon. The season officially kicks off on November 14th and runs through January 7th,2026 (don’t you love that it goes into the first week of January?).

That means you’ll soon get to enjoy the holiday decorations in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, watch the Christmas parade, the Christmas nighttime fireworks, meet special character appearances, and more. You’ll also get to enjoy the Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays (which we’re VERY excited about), and something else will be returning to California Adventure this year, too. Deadpool will be back to tell holiday stories!

Disney just confirmed that The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special will be back for the holiday season in Avengers Campus! Deadpool made his debut in Disneyland last year, and now he’s back to make you laugh during the holidays with some funny stories. Oh, and you might even get a special appearance by Deadpool’s BFF Wolverine.

This is just one of MANY characters you’ll get to see in Disneyland during the holidays. You’ll be able to meet Santa Claus at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in California Adventure through December 24th and at the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa from November 27th through December 24th.

Mickey, Minnie, and many of their friends will also be putting in appearances in their holiday outfits on Buena Vista Street, while Carl, Russell, and Dug will be meeting in Grizzly Peak. You’ll also see Mickey and his friends during Mickey’s Happy Holidays, a holiday procession. Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season will also return this year, along with A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel. FUN.
