What we really love about it, though, is that the design is simple, classic, yet effective. It doesn’t need a lot of frills to make it pop, and the material used for each of the characters is shiny, making it look like the faces you’d find among Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons (and they’re repeated on the back side, which means you’ll never have to worry about putting them on backwards). And if we’re being brutally honest, that soft velvet that lines the inside of the headband is one of the softest we’ve ever tested!

The front design has an adorable blue ribbon tied in the top corner as well as a dapper-looking Mickey and Minnie against a white background layered on top of a red heart. The top has two clasps to be undone like a briefcase to reveal the heart can be split in half for your belongings.

There’s also a zippered pocket on the inside, and the handbag makes for its own carrying case, as you can tuck the removable strap into it when you’re not using it. The back design also features the same white background, but also has an old school Hollywood font of “MM” in blue, like the front ribbon and the iconic Disney Loungefly enamel label.

But what we love most about this handbag is that it’s decked out in a Loungefly design we’ve not seen done a million times over. It’s effective without being over the top, and it’s got such versatility to it for different wearing patterns, ways to dress it up, or show off as your featured accessory against either a muted or attention-grabbing outfit. While the bag itself was hard as a rock to the outside, it wasn’t super heavy to carry around, and we didn’t worry about potentially breaking a nail every time we went to pull open its clasps at the top.

However, we will caution that the sizing runs small for this shirt, so maybe play it safe and order a size or two larger than you typically would if you’re not looking for a snug fit.
