We look forward to the “it’s a small world” holiday transformation each and every year, and we are getting closer to the big reveal! This classic attraction will be adorned with shimmering lights and whimsical decor for the holiday season at Disneyland Resort. However, to be ready for the Holidays at Disneyland Resort starting on November 14th, 2025, the attraction will need to close for a bit. That is why we are here to remind you!

The “it’s a small world” attraction will be closed at Disneyland Park starting October 30th, 2025. It will only be closed for about two weeks, though, and it will reopen in time for the Holidays at Disneyland Resort starting November 14th, 2025.

We always love singing along and sailing on “the happiest cruise that ever sailed,” but the sailing during the holiday overlay is truly spectacular to see. It really takes this attraction up a notch, and we can’t wait to see it again this year. The façade of “it’s a small world” is adorned with thousands of shimmering lights, and throughout your journey on the attraction, you will spot whimsical decor, enjoy jubilant regional adornments, and hear traditional holiday tunes.

The holiday overlay will be on “it’s a small world” from November 14th, 2025, until January 7th, 2026. If you are heading to Disneyland for the holiday season, we think this attraction is a must-do! Just a fair warning that the song will likely be stuck in your head all day long. Also, be sure to take a look at the attraction at night as the façade is stunning!
