Santa Claus is coming to town! Even though Santa Claus is hard at work at the North Pole preparing for the holiday season, he is taking time out of his busy schedule to meet guests at Disney World!
Not only has Disney announced that you can find him at the four theme parks, but you can also meet him at Disney Springs — meaning NO theme park ticket required and FREE parking! However, you need to know a few things if you are hoping to meet Santa at Disney Springs!
From November 13th through December 24th, you will be able to meet Santa Claus near Disney’s Pin Traders in Disney Springs. That’s right! No park ticket required, and there is even free parking nearby. You can make a day out of it and dine and shop your way through Disney Springs. However, there is one small caveat if you want to meet Santa: you must join the virtual queue.
There is only one way to make sure you can meet him, and that is by joining the virtual queue. You will need to use the My Disney Experience app and request to join the virtual queue. The virtual queue will open at select times throughout the day: 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, and 6 PM. You must be at Disney Springs to join the queue, and one person will join the queue for your entire party (maximum party size of 10 people).
Once you have joined the queue at one of the times listed above, you will receive a push notification and a link to a digital entry code when it is your time to return to meet Santa Claus. Santa Claus will be located near Disney’s Pin Traders. Disney Springs isn’t the only spot you can meet Santa Claus, though! Disney has said he will also be at all four of the Disney World theme parks, so you have multiple options for meeting Santa this holiday season.
Also, while you are at Disney Springs meeting Santa Claus, don’t miss out on the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll! You can enjoy a collection of Disney-inspired Christmas trees located throughout Disney Springs. Make sure to pick up a complimentary map highlighting the location of each tree, and bring the completed map back for a special prize. We always love exploring all the themed trees!
