Psst, we’ve got a secret to let you in on… A new, ultra-limited edition dessert is hiding in Disney Springs, and it’s definitely worth snagging while you can!
There are TONS of great places to eat in Disney Springs, from fancy, special occasion spots to quick grab-and-go options. But even with so many restaurants to choose from, eet by Maneet Chauhan STILL stands out to us as a hidden gem. And now, there’s yet another reason to visit eet ASAP!
For those who haven’t been yet (seriously, put it on your list!), eet serves up Indian food with a modern twist. We love this spot for its unique menu, with delicious options you won’t find anywhere else in Disney World. Plus, sometimes they even treat guests to special, limited-edition items…like a new ultra-exclusive dessert that you’ll have to act FAST to get your hands on!
We swung by eet to try the limited-edition Mango and Guava Cheesecake that’s SO rare it didn’t even get its own sign or menu placard! Since it didn’t have a menu description, we had to do some guessing as far as the specific layers, but trust us, it was a delicious bit of investigative work.
The bottom base of the cheesecake tasted cake-like instead of the typical graham cracker crust, but it was a thin layer, so it was hard to tell for sure. On top of that were layers of mango and guava cheesecake, topped with what tasted like mango whipped cream, chopped mango, mango guava popping pearls, and crispy pearls.
Overall, this was up there as one of the best-tasting cheesecake desserts we’ve had around Disney World! We wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s THE #1 best, but it was definitely a standout, and it exceeded our expectations! The fruit flavor was strong but not overpowering, and it wasn’t overly sweet. It tasted like real fruit flavor, and we didn’t get any of that distinctive artificial flavor that can pop up in these types of desserts.
The cheesecake was super smooth and creamy, and the toppings added a nice mix of texture. The only part we didn’t love was the popping pearls — those DID have an artificial taste, which was a bit jarring compared to the rest of the dish. But minus the popping pearls, this dessert was a big winner for us. It was perfectly light and refreshing, and complements the rest of eet’s menu items well!
Now, here’s the catch — the Mango and Guava Cheesecake is SUPER limited! The restaurant only has one batch of these, so once they sell out, they’re gone! Which just means it’s the perfect excuse for a trip to Disney Springs ASAP, right??
We’ll be on the lookout for more new snacks all around Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates!
