We tried the Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake for $6.49 at Pizzafari in Discovery Island. This is a chocolate and vanilla marble cheesecake with raspberry sauce, whipped cream, and a zebra stripe medallion.
YUM!
We thought it was such a solid sweet treat! It was light and fluffy, with just enough chocolate without it being too much. The vanilla was the softer of the flavors since chocolate always seems to take over a bit, but it was the perfect balance for us. We wish there were some sort of crust, like a graham cracker crust, but if you are here for the cheesecake filling, you’re going to love this.
What a good sized slice!
It’s served on top of raspberry sauce, with some more on the side. It was tangy and tart, adding a bright, fresh fruit flavor. We loved that most of the sauce came on he side in case you don’t want to dip your cheesecake in it, but we were dunking all the way.
Digging in
For about $6.50, we thought it was a great-sized dessert that hit our sugar craving. Because it is so light and fluffy, we didn’t feel weighed down on the rest of our Animal Kingdom day.
