Who doesn’t love trying unique snacks around Disney World? We know we do (DUH — that’s why we’re Disney Food Blog)!
We will admit that sometimes this means we’ve got to try treats that are, for lack of a better word, disappointing (and sometimes just flat-out BLECH, but that’s a rarity), but it’s all worth it for those snacks that totally knock our socks off. Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ve likely heard of the famous Blue and Green Milk in Galaxy’s Edge. For some, it’s controversial, but if you’ve tried both and want something a little more unique and elevated, look no further than the Tenoo Swirl Crunchies Cereal.
The Tenoo Swirl Crunchies Cereal is made with Blue Milk and topped with Raspberry Jelly and Mini Rainbow Crunchy Candies. It’ll cost you $10.79. It’s not new, but we love to talk about ANY and ALL Disney snacks around here.
Now, because we’re us, we tend to over-analyze things. We noticed that Disney has a discrepancy with this treat, where the Disney Dining Plan snack credit signage was removed from the menu in the park, but was still designated as snack credit eligible on Mobile Order. After some investigation, though, we confirmed that you can order this treat with a snack credit if you’re using the Disney Dining Plan! At $10, that’s a pretty good value for a snack credit!
The topping here reminded us of Nerds candy, which we love! As you get further into the cup, you hit the raspberry jelly drizzled on the sides, and you really do need to use your straw to scrape it off and mix everything together to REALLY appreciate this mix of ingredients.
The raspberry here doesn’t dominate the drink (or taste exactly like raspberry for that matter); it just adds sweetness and a fruit-forward boost that enhances the Blue Milk’s flavor. We think this treat is a great way to make Blue Milk feel new again for people who’ve had it plenty of times and might be bored with it. It looks cool, it tastes delicious, and it fits the point of eating food from another planet because you can’t QUITE nail down the flavor.
We’d grab this version over the regular Blue Milk any day, so if you’ve got a bit more of a sweet tooth, we do recommend this one. If you’re trying to decide between Blue Milk and Green Milk, most people say they prefer Blue Milk, though some members of our team have always been split down the middle. Blue has the “safer,” more palatable flavor profile, while green is a little more adventurous, so keep that in mind!
