Magic Kingdom is changing in a HUGE way. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is getting a huge upgrade. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is getting an update. A new expansion is coming to Frontierland, while a whole new land is being built behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Recently, we learned about some changes coming to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Fantasyland. One of those changes was a meet and greet with the Fairy Godmother during that experience. Disney also announced it would be simplifying its packages for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique…well, now, we’ve got all the details on those new packages.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is an experience for kids where they can get a makeover into a princess or prince. You can choose from a variety of packages for your kid’s experience. Disney has revealed samples of their new simplified packages, including the Fairy Tale Package, which includes a themed shirt, makeup, sash, cinch sack, and choice of hairstyle. This package starts at $119.99.
The Kingdom Package includes a Disney Princess gown, makeup, sash, cinch sack, your choice of hairstyle, accessories, and more. This package will run you $229.99. This is basically the full princess glow-up makeover.
The Adventure Package will transform your child into a knight, complete with a themed shirt, hairstyle, sword, and shield. This package is $59.99. Note, this is basically the same as the previous Knight Package, with the addition of a shirt. That package was $19.99, meaning that the price for this experience has gone up by $40!
Speaking of price hikes, the other packages are also more expensive than what similar previous packages offered, but this is the season of price increases in Disney World, so what are you going to do?
These packages are available to book now on the Disney World website, so if you’re interested in getting one of these packages for your child, you can do so now. This experience is only for children ages 3 to 12 (yeah, we’re disappointed, too, because Disney could rake in some cash if this were available for adults), and they must be accompanied by an adult for their appointment. Up to two guests are allowed to be with the child during the makeover process.

Is this is the only place currently to meet Fairy Godmother? We’ve never been lucky enough to meet her, and I don’t have anyone around currently young enough to force to get the makeovers so that I can meet her 😁
Our extended family (which is only 7 people anyway) took two trips to WDW in 2023, one in April and another before Christmas. On both occasions we treated our 6-year-old granddaughter to a makeover at Bibbidi, Bobbidi Boutique, as Merida and Rapunzel, respectively. It was the best money we could have spent.
It was so great seeing her anticipate and then enjoy the various phases during the process…both times. She is outgoing anyway, and had a ball interacting with all the ladies. And she looked like a real Princess when the transformation was complete.
A memory I will never forget.
They should come down on the prices.
