Yes, yes, I know that it seems a little early, but it’s time to start thinking about the holidays!
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays returns this year on November 28th, and we are PUMPED. We go to every festival on opening day here at DFB to review all (yes, I mean ALL) the food booths, check out the entertainment, and share with you the best strategies for conquering your visit. So when Disney revealed the holiday storyteller schedule early, you know we just had to let you know!
Holiday storytellers are one of the coolest and most unique parts of the Festival of the Holidays. In several of the World Showcase countries, you’ll find a holiday storyteller (typically representing an important holiday character for that country) who will tell tales of their country’s traditions and history surrounding the season.
These short storytelling shows happen throughout the day, and if you time it right, you might be able to catch them all. The schedule for the performers was recently posted on the Disney World website, so now you can plan ahead! Here’s what it looks like:
Mexico Pavilion – Las Posadas Celebration
¡Feliz Navidad! Join the fun and pageantry of Las Posadas with dancers, piñatas, and the music of Mariachi Cobre.
- Days: Sundays through Thursdays
Times: 11:05AM, 11:55AM, 12:45PM, 2:35PM, 3:45PM, and 5:10PM
Norway Pavilion – A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa
Celebrate the season with laughter as a mischievous Barn Santa visits Sigrid, an unsuspecting Christmas storyteller.
- Days: Daily from November 28th to December 30th, 2025
Times: 11:40AM, 12:30PM, 1:30PM, 2:20PM, 4:10PM, 4:55PM, 5:40PM, and 6:25PM
China Pavilion – Chinese Lion Dancer
Catch a glimpse of this colorful performance that brings good fortune and happiness in the Lunar New Year.
- Days: November 28th through November 30th, December 6th and 7th, December 13th and 14th, and December 19th through December 25th, 2025
Times: Noon, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM, and 4:00PM
Italy Pavilion – La Befana
Come hear the tale of La Befana, the kindhearted witch who visits sleeping young children on the Eve of the Epiphany.
- Days: Daily from November 28th to December 30th, 2025
Times: 11:15AM, 12:15PM, 1:00PM, 1:55PM, 3:30PM, 4:15PM, 5:00PM, and 5:40PM
Japan Pavilion – Daruma Storyteller
Hear the fascinating story of the Daruma doll and the Japanese customs of the new year!
- Days: Daily from November 28th to December 30th, 2025
Times: 10:45AM, 11:45AM, 12:45PM, 1:35PM, 2:35PM, 4:15PM, 5:00PM, and 5:45 PM
Between Morocco & France Pavilions – Hanukkah Storyteller
Guests will discover an entertaining celebration of Hanukkah along World Showcase promenade, where a storyteller recounts traveling abroad to explore the diverse music and traditions of Hanukkah around the world.
- Days: Daily from November 28th to December 30th, 2025
Times: Noon, 1:00PM, 1:50PM, 2:50PM, 3:45PM, 5:05PM, 5:50PM, and 6:30PM
France Pavilion – Pere Noel
Visit with Père Noël and rediscover the magic of Christmas through the letter of a delightful child.
- Days: Daily from November 28th to December 30th, 2025
Times: 10:00AM, 11:05AM, 12:10PM, 12:50PM, 2:20PM, 3:25PM, 4:30PM, and 5:15PM
United Kingdom Pavilion – Father Christmas
Join Father Christmas as he rings in the season, sharing the traditions of the United Kingdom and good cheer.
- Days: Daily from November 28 to December 30, 2025
Times: 11:45AM, 12:30PM, 1:20PM, 2:05PM, 3:50PM, 4:45PM, 5:35PM, and 6:30PM
Canada Pavilion – Canadian Holiday Voyageurs
Explore holiday customs from the various regions of Canada on a musical tour of the Great White North with the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs.
- Days: Daily from November 28 to December 30, 2025
Times: 3:25PM, 4:35PM, 5:35PM, 6:40PM, 7:40PM, and 8:40PM
