When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle-of-the-road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well.
We recently stopped by Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in EPCOT’s France Pavilion to check out a GIANT new treat, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here!
Over at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in EPCOT’s France Pavilion, they’re now serving up the Croiss Oh La La — a GIANT croissant dipped in chocolate — for $13.95. And, while that sounds like quite an expensive croissant, this thing could easily feed a family.
Seriously, this thing was nearly as big as our reporter’s head when she tried it! It barely fit on the plate. It’s the same delicious, buttery, flaky croissant you can normally get at Les Halles — only giant, and covered in chocolate. Just beware: people WILL stop you to ask where you got it.
Our only complaint is that we wish there had been more chocolate, or even a filling — it was just a lot of croissant dough, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it could have been a little bit more exciting. Though, how much more exciting does a giant croissant need to be?
We were happy to see that despite the croissant being huge, the flaky crumb structure remained intact on the inside. The chocolate started to melt pretty quickly once we took it outside as well.
The Croiss Oh La La is only around for a limited time, so grab it while you can! It has been selling out pretty early in the mornings, so you’ll want to get to Les Halles as soon as it opens.
We’ll be on the lookout for more GIANT new snacks to review for you around Disney World. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney food news and more.
