Oh, Gideon's Bakehouse, You Had Us at Double Stuff Oreo Cookies…

One of the most exciting things about the beginning of the month is that it means we see new snacks in Disney World.

Y’all KNOW we’re all about new snacks. Y’all also know that we’re all about Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, so we look forward to seeing what cookie and cake concoctions Gideon’s is baking up for the month. Well, October is officially here, and Gideon’s has revealed its October line-up…and it includes cookies with Double Stuff Oreos in them. WHAT?

Okay, so Gideon’s October line-up includes the Frankenstein Lives! cookie, which includes a variety of chocolates, Double Stuff Oreos, and M&Ms. It also includes the Bride of Frankenstein Returns! which is a lot like the original Frankenstein cookie but with White Chocolate, Golden Oreos, and M&Ms. Needless to say, these are two MONSTER cookies (see what we did there?).

Let’s talk cake. You can also get the Frankenstein Cake Slices which have three layers of Chocolate Cake, a “ridiculous amount” of cookies and cream buttercream, and M&Ms with a dripping chocolate ganache on top. These are available every Wednesday and Saturday of October.

There’s also the Bride of Frankenstein Cake Slices, which are similar except these have Vanilla and Chocolate Cake with Golden Oreo Buttercream. You can grab these slices every Sunday and Thursday.

The Dark Mocha Cold Brew will also be available EXCLUSIVELY at the Disney Springs location. Check out that sweet black cat wrap around that cup. SPOOKY.

Gideon’s is also promising NEW never-before-seen desserts every weekend. You’ll have to follow the bakery on social media to find out what’s coming up next, but we can give you a preview of the first weekend of October. It’s Valentina’s Whoopie Pies made with two black cocoa-dusted Red Velvet “Cookie Cakes” with a Marshmallow Cookies and Cream Buttercream between them. YUM. This treat will only be available THIS weekend, October 4th and 5th.
