Disney recently dropped the details for an exclusive holiday event, and all Disney Vacation Club Members are invited to join! It’s going to be filled with food, music, and festive holiday cheer. Let’s take a look at what it is.

You probably know what we’re talking about; it’s been a tradition for over 50 years now! The Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holidays is back again! Get ready to join the Pioneer Hall Players for frontier-style family fun.

Hoop Dee Holidays will take place on December 9th and December 16th. Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members are invited to celebrate the holidays in true pioneer fashion. You’ll be shouting “howdy” to a festive music-and-comedy revue and fantastic feast among your fellow Vacation Club Members.

On top of that, you’ll be able to enjoy a Member-exclusive pre-show and a keepsake to commemorate your evening. The showtimes for the two dates will be 4:00 PM and 6:15 PM. Disney recommends that all guests arrive 30 minutes before their reservation time to check in. Seating will begin immediately at the scheduled times, with the show beginning 20 minutes later.

Of course, the event is located at Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground at Walt Disney World Resort. Feel free to bring friends and family, as Disney Vacation Members may bring up to 11 additional guests per membership.

Seats are allocated based on party size and category. You’ll get to choose from 3 different seating categories. Wheelchair-accessible seating is located in Categories 1 and 2. Category 3 seating is located on the second floor of Pioneer Hall, which has no elevator access. Prices include tax and gratuity. Advance booking is required; payment in full is due at the time of booking.
- Category 1: $83.00 per person (ages 10 and older), $50.00 per person (ages 3 to 9)
- Category 2: $79.00 per person (ages 10 and older), $46.00 per person (ages 3 to 9)
- Category 3: $75.00 per person (ages 10 and older), $45.00 per person (ages 3 to 9)
Hoop Dee Doo
Space is limited, so make sure you book your reservation in advance. Booking begins on October 10th (make sure to mark those calendars), and you can book online or call (800) 800-9800. Here are additional details posted by Disney online:
- Space is limited. Advance booking is required; payment in full is due at the time of booking.
- When booking, any infants (children under 3) should be included in the party.
- In order to allow as many Members as possible to enjoy, only one show date will be available to book per Membership.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the full price of the experience.
- A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at check-in. The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance.
- Your Digital Membership Card should be added to the digital wallet of your mobile device before arrival.
- Attendees younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
- Event dates and show times are subject to change or cancellation.
- Offer is non-transferable and cannot be sold.

It’s great that they have this for DVC. But what makes me even happier (especially since we’re not DVC, at least not yet) is that this bodes well for the future of Hoop Dee Doo. It’s becoming increasingly rare to find something at WDW that has been around for 50 years, especially something ‘old fashioned’ that is not IP based. Is this the last surviving dinner show at WDW – especially of you don’t count the fireworks events (and I don’t)? We love Hoop Dee Doo, it has become a must “doo” 😁 for our trips. I hope this show is around for a long time!
